About the Role

As a Senior Platform Engineer at saas.group, you will be part of a dynamic team driving the growth of ScraperAPI, a leading enterprise-scale web scraping solution. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining a robust platform roadmap, ensuring seamless and reliable data extraction for businesses across various industries. You will work closely with the engineering team to identify areas of improvement, prioritize tasks, and drive infrastructure growth. What You Will Do

  • Own the platform roadmap: identify areas for improvement, prioritize tasks, and drive growth
  • Explore and assess the infrastructure architecture, collecting risks and opportunities that need to be addressed
  • Build and maintain a unified platform, consolidating two infrastructure stacks
  • Support the engineering team in increasing maturity around AI usage and standardizing development environment tooling and processes
  • Lead cost management efforts across infrastructure, including proxy costs
  • Identify optimization opportunities and implement them without compromising performance or security
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the infrastructure through robust monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices within the team
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall system reliability

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in cloud-based infrastructure and containerization
  • Experience with cost management, optimization, and scalability
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with a focus on integration and implementation
