Job Description

About the Role

Railway is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and evolve multiple production Ceph clusters, creating efficient APIs for safe live-migrations of stateful workloads. The ideal candidate will have experience architecting and implementing distributed systems, with a focus on building fault-tolerant, resilient, and scalable services.

Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve production Ceph clusters from hardware design to configuration and operation
  • Create efficient APIs for live-migrations of stateful workloads
  • Design and build API and Orchestration services using Go, gRPC, ScyllaDB, and Temporal
  • Write Engineering Requirement Documents for implementation and monitoring
