About the Role

The Senior Principal Technical Consultant plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer outcomes through technical expertise and configuration of ServiceNow Risk & Resilience products. As a key member of the Expert Services team, you will work closely with customers to drive adoption, consumption, and satisfaction, ultimately helping them achieve their business goals. With a focus on configuration leading practices, you will develop solutions that accelerate customer business outcomes and provide prescriptive guidance to ensure successful implementation.

What You Will Do

  • Develop solutions for customers through technical configuration of Risk & Resilience products
  • Provide technical expertise and configuration guidance to customers
  • Articulate the implications of customization and technical debt
  • Advise customers on standard capabilities and best practices
  • Participate in customer design workshops focused on ServiceNow Platform and Risk solution technology
  • Draft technically-focused user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategy, and knowledge transfer
  • Guide and provide ad-hoc oversight/training for customer system administrators
  • Lead technical aspects of project delivery and solution delivery
  • Develop required integration components with multiple systems
  • Prepare customer-facing deliverables focused on technology and solution quality
  • Juggle multiple complex projects/initiatives
  • Promote continuous improvement practices
  • Support specific services sales activities when required
  • Provide training and mentoring to other team members and partner ecosystem

What We Are Looking For

  • Current active ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist in Risk and Compliance (CIS-RC)
  • 10-12 years of ServiceNow configuration/development experience for complex technologies
  • 10-12 years of ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) configuration/development experience
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult on Risk & Resilience solutions
  • Experience with Web Services and API integration
  • Strong technical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong customer-facing skills and ability to build relationships

  • Experience with other ServiceNow products and modules
