About the Role
The Senior Product Analyst position at Kaufland e-commerce is a pivotal role that involves analyzing product performance metrics, user engagement, and feedback to drive measurable business outcomes and customer-first product improvements. As part of the Tech & Product Team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure data-driven decision-making. Your primary goal will be to provide data-based insights and ideas that propel the business forward, focusing on creating an outstanding shopping experience for customers and an optimal selling experience for partners.The role is ideally suited for individuals with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives. You will be working closely with stakeholders and senior management, advising them on the actions needed to move the business forward based on your findings. The position is open for remote work within Germany or at one of Kaufland e-commerce's locations in Cologne, Darmstadt, Düsseldorf, or Berlin, offering flexibility and a relocation package for those moving to Germany.

What You Will Do
- Analyze product performance metrics, user engagement, and feedback to deliver insights that drive business outcomes and customer-first product improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams during their discovery phases to provide data-based insights and ideas.
- Propose and lead data-driven projects that significantly impact key business outcomes, focusing on changes that benefit the customer or the business.
- Translate complex data into clear narratives, advising stakeholders and senior management on necessary actions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in the e-commerce landscape.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau to communicate findings effectively.
- Leverage AI-driven tools to accelerate data analysis and automate complex workflows.
- Operate with an 'act as a company owner' mentality, proactively identifying gaps and proposing solutions.
- Provide deep analytical insights in either Pricing or B2B Seller Experience.
- Work closely with the Pricing team or Selling Experience team to drive business growth.
What We Are Looking For
- Substantial experience in product analysis, particularly in digital products, with a strong background in data analysis and interpretation.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.
- Specialized experience in either Pricing or B2B Seller Experience, providing deep analytical insights.
- Basic programming knowledge in Python, R, or a similar programming language.
- Deep analytical rigor, with the ability to follow the data thread to its logical end to uncover root causes and inform strategic initiatives.
- Fluency in English (C1) and experience working in an international environment.
- Ability to operate with an 'act as a company owner' mentality, driving business impact without waiting for a roadmap or predefined requests.
- Experience in leveraging AI-driven tools to accelerate data analysis and automate complex workflows.
