About the Role
As a Senior Product Designer on the Growth Team at Lattice, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the user experience and driving product development. Your primary focus will be on designing intuitive and engaging workflows that encourage user adoption and retention. The Growth Team is dedicated to creating seamless interactions between managers and employees, simplifying tasks such as preparing for 1:1s, providing feedback, and writing weekly updates. Lattice operates as a unified people platform, offering a comprehensive suite of tools for performance reviews, engagement surveys, feedback, check-ins, goals, career development, and compensation planning. Since its inception in 2016, the company has grown significantly, now supporting over 5,000 customers worldwide. The next phase of growth involves the development of an AI-native product suite, positioning Lattice at the forefront of innovation in talent management. The design team at Lattice is a tight-knit group of passionate professionals, including brand designers, product designers, and researchers. - Develop and implement design solutions that enhance user experience and contribute to business growth.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and data science, to ensure holistic and high-quality product development.
- Conduct user research to deeply understand customer needs and preferences, informing design decisions with data-driven insights.
- Design, prototype, and test new features and workflows, focusing on reducing friction and building user habits.
- Work within the existing design system to create consistent and seamless user experiences across all product surfaces.
- Develop and maintain design documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility of design decisions and solutions.
- Participate in critique sessions to provide and receive feedback, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance Lattice's design capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of the design team's skills and knowledge, sharing expertise and best practices.
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in product design, with a focus on growth and user experience.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering successful product features that drive user engagement and business growth.
- Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and user experience best practices.
- Experience working with design systems and contributing to their development and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to break down complex problems into manageable components.
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision.
- Basic understanding of front-end development principles and technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

- Experience working in an AI-native product environment and understanding of how AI can enhance user experience.
