Senior Product Designer, North

About the Role

The role entails a deep understanding of AI concepts and agentic systems, including how models reason, use tools, and orchestrate multi-step workflows. You will be expected to stay current on AI trends and design interactions that make complex agentic behaviors understandable and controllable for users. As part of the North product team, you will own the end-to-end design process and be a key stakeholder in prioritization and strategy decisions.

What You Will Do

• Own the design process end-to-end for your product area, identifying opportunities to improve user experience and drive product impact
• Design intuitive, user-friendly experiences that balance technical complexity with accessibility and ease of use
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle
• Conduct user research to understand needs, validate design decisions, and translate insights into actionable design improvements
• Maintain a high craft and quality bar, ensuring every detail contributes to a cohesive and polished experience
• Contribute to design systems and patterns that scale across the North platform
• Partner with engineering to ensure designs are implemented with fidelity and make pragmatic tradeoffs when needed
• Work on experiences that are defining how enterprises leverage AI
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and design
• Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to colleagues

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience designing digital products with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your process, systems thinking, and measurable impact on user outcomes
• Strong understanding of AI concepts and agentic systems, including how models reason, use tools, and orchestrate multi-step workflows
• Collaborative approach to product development, with experience working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders
• Deep commitment to understanding user needs through research, data, and direct engagement
• Proficiency in Figma and other design tools
• Experience building scalable patterns and systems
• Strong visual design skills in typography, layout, color, and composition
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and tradeoffs

• Knowledge of machine learning principles and their application in design

• Certification in design or a related field
