Senior Product Engineer, AI & Platforms

About the Role

The role entails working on a wide range of projects, from building web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript to designing and deploying APIs and integration services on AWS. You will also have the opportunity to integrate LLM capabilities into products, develop developer tools, and automate workflows. Your work will have a direct impact on the company's success, and you will be expected to own your deliverables end-to-end, from understanding the problem to architecture, implementation, deployment, validation, and iteration.

What You Will Do

• Build and ship web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript, including dashboards, internal tools, and stakeholder-facing products
• Design and deploy APIs and integration services on AWS, connecting enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Workfront, and Workday
• Integrate LLM capabilities into products, including prompt engineering, multi-model orchestration, and cost-optimized AI pipelines
• Develop developer tools and automation to improve team productivity and enable AI-assisted workflows
• Implement OAuth 2.0 flows, secure credential management, and compliance-aware data handling
• Own cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Serverless Framework)
• Gather requirements from stakeholders, push back on unrealistic expectations, and write recommendations for better approaches
• Follow up after launch to confirm feature adoption and measure success
• Contribute to team growth by helping peers, sharing technical knowledge, and participating in AI Accelerator discussions

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping web applications or platform services
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python, with experience in React/Next.js for frontend and FastAPI or similar for backend services
• Working knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager) and experience with Docker and containerized workflows
• Experience with PostgreSQL and an ORM (Prisma, SQLAlchemy, or similar)
• Comfort working with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar) and integrating AI capabilities into applications
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 flows and secure API authentication patterns
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write clear recommendation documents
• Experience with enterprise platform APIs (Salesforce, Workfront, Workday, or similar) is preferred
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Serverless Framework, Terraform) is preferred

Nice to Have

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar) as a core part of your daily workflow
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git, SVN, or similar)
