## About the Role The Senior Product Engineer position at Starbridge is a key role that involves working closely with the product and design teams to build the user-facing aspects of the Starbridge platform. The ideal candidate will be a generalist with a strong background in software engineering, particularly in modern web ecosystems. ## What You Will Do - Develop highly performant, stable frontends for the Starbridge platform using React and Typescript - Collaborate with the product and design teams to identify and prioritize project requirements - Build structures that allow for quick iteration and responsiveness to customer feedback - Optimize code for performance and measure its impact on the user experience - Work closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components - Set high standards for UX and UI and ensure that all work meets these standards - Communicate proactively with the team and stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed and aligned - Participate in architectural design decisions and contribute to the technical vision of the company - Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in front-end technologies and apply this knowledge to improve the Starbridge platform - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase - Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, using a data-driven approach to identify and fix problems

## What We Are Looking For - 7+ years of software engineering experience working on modern web ecosystems - 5+ years of experience with React, Typescript, Javascript, RESTful API, CSS, and other front-end technologies - Experience working in a startup or smaller company with real engineering impact - Strong understanding of how code affects performance and how to measure and optimize it - Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a blended sync and async environment - Experience with Github CI/CD and other DevOps tools - Strong UX and UI skills, with the ability to set high standards for the work - Experience as a technical lead, making architectural design decisions - Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug issues effectively - Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems

## Nice to Have - Experience with other programming languages, such as Java or Python - Knowledge of back-end technologies, such as Node.js or Ruby on Rails - Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud - Familiarity with machine learning or artificial intelligence concepts - Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
