Job Description

About the Role

The Senior Product Manager, Advertising Products will play a critical role in shaping the future of Mozilla's advertising infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for driving the development of next-generation advertising products that prioritize user privacy while delivering high-performance results for advertisers. As a key member of the Mozilla Ads team, this person will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business development, to bring new products to market.

What You Will Do

  • Drive the vision, strategy, and execution for Mozilla's privacy-preserving advertising products
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies for new advertising products, including targeting, search suggestion monetization, and ad formats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Ads Engineering, Data Science, Firefox Platform, Design, Legal/Policy, Trust & Safety, Finance, and GTM
  • Convert strategy into crisp product requirements and cross-team plans
  • Co-create user-first ad experiences and performant services with design and engineering teams
  • Partner with business development to shape deal structures and launch new supply and demand integrations
  • Establish the experimentation and measurement backbone for Ads, including instrumentation, event quality, and dashboards
  • Set and track KPIs, such as RPM/eCPM, CTR, fill rate, viewability, latency SLOs, advertiser retention, and user sentiment/trust signals

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the advertising technology industry
  • Strong understanding of GTM strategies and product development
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business development
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decisions
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
  • Strong understanding of user experience principles and human-centered design
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with open-source software development
  • Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence principles
  • Experience working with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Google Cloud
