Job Description

## About the Role The Senior Product Manager, Advertising Products, will play a pivotal role in Mozilla's effort to build a privacy-forward advertising ecosystem. This individual will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of Mozilla's next-generation advertising infrastructure, focusing on real-time decisioning, partner integration, and privacy-preserving personalization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, including the challenges and opportunities presented by emerging technologies and consumer trends.

As a key member of the Mozilla Ads team, the Senior Product Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Ads Engineering, Data Science, Firefox Platform, Design, Legal/Policy, Trust & Safety, Finance, and GTM. This role requires exceptional communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to distill complex technical concepts into actionable product requirements.

## What You Will Do - Drive the vision, strategy, and execution for Mozilla's privacy-preserving advertising products, including targeting, search suggestion monetization, and ad formats.

  • Develop and execute rapid hypothesis testing and experiment-led product development to improve ad relevance, user experience, and advertiser ROI while preserving privacy.
  • Collaborate with Ads Engineering, Data Science, and other teams to convert strategy into crisp product requirements and cross-team plans.
  • Co-create user-first ad experiences and performant services with Design and Engineering teams, ensuring that products meet strict latency, quality, and accessibility standards.
  • Provide clear problem framing and success criteria, and give actionable design and technical feedback to raise product quality and delivery velocity.
  • Partner with Business Development to shape deal structures and launch new supply and demand integrations, defining product terms, API/SDK requirements, and success metrics.
  • Influence pricing and packaging, and steward marquee partnerships from tech evaluation through launch.
  • Work closely with the GTM team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new advertising products and features.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform product development and optimization.
## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the digital advertising or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, including programmatic advertising, real-time bidding, and data management platforms.
  • Experience with GTM strategies, including product launch planning, positioning, and messaging.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies, with a focus on user-centric design and privacy preservation.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with software development methodologies and data analysis tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
## Nice to Have - Experience with open-source software development and community engagement.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies, and their applications in digital advertising.
  • Familiarity with Mozilla's products and technologies, including Firefox and other privacy-focused initiatives.
  • Certification in product management or a related field, such as Agile development or data science.
