About the Role
The Senior Product Manager, Capital, at Affirm is a pivotal role that involves overseeing the loan origination process end-to-end. This is a critical function that ensures the scalability and reliability of Affirm's lending operations. As a senior product manager, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and analytics to build financial products that empower consumers.The product team at Affirm is known for its customer-centric approach, translating customer needs into a clear product vision. What You Will Do
- Own the Originations product area end-to-end, including originator integrations, allocation logic, and regulatory compliance.
- Build deep expertise in the originator ecosystem, understanding capabilities, regulatory constraints, and integration requirements.
- Own originator allocation, ensuring coverage and reliability to meet loan origination demands.
- Define and drive origination health metrics, focusing on data quality and success metrics.
- Set strategy and execute the roadmap, translating business needs into a clear, prioritized origination plan.
- Lead cross-functional execution, partnering with Bank Partnerships, Credit, Compliance, and Capital Markets.
- Develop and maintain the Funding ETL, the primary database for Capital activities.
- Collaborate with the Loan Origination & Reporting (LOR) engineering team to ship new features and improvements.
- Manage the onboarding process for new bank partners and originating entities.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all origination activities.
