The role entails developing and executing a product roadmap, defining key performance indicators, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful product launch and adoption. You will be the single-threaded owner of the originations product area, driving the development of tools, systems, and processes required to scale Affirm's capital operations.

The Product team at Affirm is dedicated to understanding customer needs and translating those insights into a clear product vision. The team works closely with design, engineering, and analytics to build scalable financial products that empower people to manage their money with confidence. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be expected to lead with clarity, support cross-functional execution, and champion the user in every decision.

The Capital Product team is responsible for conceiving, designing, and building the next generation of tools, systems, and processes required to scale Affirm's intricate capital operations. Within Capital, the Originations product area is the engine that powers how every Affirm loan comes into existence, managing the integrations, allocation logic, and regulatory compliance across the network of originating bank partners and Affirm's own originating entities.

  • Own originator allocation and ensure coverage, balancing volume targets, regulatory restrictions, and originator preferences.
  • Define and drive origination health metrics, setting clear success metrics for the origination product and ensuring data quality in the Funding ETL.
  • Set strategy and execute the roadmap, translating business needs, regulatory requirements, and engineering constraints into a clear, prioritized origination roadmap.
  • Lead cross-functional execution across a complex stakeholder map, partnering with Bank Partnerships, Credit, Legal, Compliance, and other teams to drive successful product launch and adoption.
  • Collaborate with the Loan Origination & Reporting (LOR) engineering team to ship high-quality products that meet business needs and user expectations.
  • Drive product strategy and execution, navigating a complex web of internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful product development and launch.
## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the financial technology or banking sector.
  • Strong understanding of product development principles, including agile methodologies and user-centered design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience working with complex stakeholder maps, including external partners and internal teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to drive business growth and improve user experience.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
## Nice to Have - Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
  • Familiarity with design thinking principles and human-centered design methodologies.
  • Experience working with cloud-based technologies and infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
## Benefits and Perks - Competitive salary and equity package.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.
  • Flexible paid time off and remote work options.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools.
  • Collaborative and dynamic work environment.
