About the Role
The Senior Product Manager, Checkout and Post-Booking, plays a critical role in driving the success of Tripadvisor's marketplace. As the leader of the Checkout Pod, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the most critical conversion point in the marketplace, where travelers move from browsing to successfully booking their experience. The role requires a deep understanding of the travel industry, as well as the ability to drive results in high-stakes transactional flows.The Checkout Pod is a key component of Tripadvisor's marketplace, and the Senior Product Manager will be responsible for defining the product roadmap and strategy for checkout and post-booking experiences. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to identify areas for improvement and drive growth.

What You Will Do
- Own the end-to-end testing cycle for the Checkout Pod, defining hypotheses, launching A/B tests, and iterating based on results to drive checkout conversion and post-booking engagement
- Create and deliver a comprehensive product roadmap for checkout and post-booking experiences, prioritizing initiatives based on impact and strategic value
- Measure and report the pod's impact to the business, using data to inform product decisions and drive growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to identify areas for improvement and drive growth
- Drive velocity and strategy for the Checkout Pod, identifying the biggest levers for growth and starting to move the needle immediately
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the travel industry, including trends, competitors, and customer needs
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop product strategies that meet these objectives
- Develop and maintain a data-driven approach to product decision-making, using metrics and feedback to inform product development
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on digital transactions and growth strategies
- Strong understanding of the travel industry, including trends, competitors, and customer needs
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive results in high-stakes transactional flows
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and team members
- Strong product sense, with the ability to develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation, with the ability to iterate based on results and drive growth
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and lean product development principles
