About the Role

Affirm is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the product roadmap for subledger and reporting infrastructure. This role will drive the vision for financial reporting systems, ensuring they are scalable, compliant, and capable of supporting rapid product innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Own the financial reporting product roadmap: subledgers, standardized accounting-event interface, journal-entry flows, GL/ERP integrations, and reconciliation tooling.
  • Work with Engineering to define subledger patterns and the Accounting ↔ Engineering interface.
  • Translate accounting policy and audit requirements into product specs, posting logic, SOX controls, and implementable engineering requirements.
  • Lead matching/reconciliation strategy and automation.
  • Own data lineage, quality metrics, SLAs, monitoring, and remediation flows for critical reports and journal feeds.
