About the Role
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly. To support this mission, we are building out the backbone of our fintech systems. We're hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the product roadmap for subledger and reporting infrastructure, the AccountingEngineering interface, and reconciliation and controls.Responsibilities
- Own the financial reporting product roadmap: subledgers, standardized accounting-event interface, journal-entry flows, GL/ERP integrations, and reconciliation tooling.
- Work with Engineering to define subledger patterns and the AccountingEngineering interface.
- Translate accounting policy and audit requirements into product specs, posting logic, SOX controls, and implementable engineering requirements.
- Lead matching/reconciliation strategy and automation.
- Own data lineage, quality metrics, SLAs, monitoring, and remediation flows for critical reports and journal feeds.
