The Senior Product Manager, Payments position at SeatGeek is a pivotal role that will lead the evolution of the company's payments function into a strategic, innovation-oriented organization. What You Will Do

  • Lead the evolution of the payments function into a strategic, innovation-oriented organization that identifies opportunities for differentiation and long-term value.
  • Define the vision for the next evolution of payments tooling at SeatGeek, including B2B2C capabilities.
  • Work closely with compliance, legal, risk, engineering, and business partners to design systems that meet their needs and priorities without compromising on customer experience.
  • Lead coordination with external payments partners, ensuring smooth execution across features, reliability, and client commitment.
  • Proactively communicate updates on deliverables and outcomes to stakeholders, serving as an ambassador for your product area to the product team and broader organization.
  • Break down complex technical systems into crisp, business-friendly explanations that can be easily understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Navigate and deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives across engineering, compliance, legal, risk, and operations.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the payments landscape, including emerging trends and technologies that can be leveraged to drive innovation and growth.
  • Collaborate with the product team to develop and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, business administration, or a related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in the ticketing or payments industry, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in these spaces.
  • Knowledge of product management tools and technologies, such as ProductBoard, Jira, Eppo, Mixpanel, Looker, and Hex.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, such as React, Kotlin, Swift, and Python.
  • Experience with data analytics and data warehousing, including tools like Redshift and Fivetran.
