About the Role
The Senior Product Manager, Platform & Integrations role at ItsaCheckmate is a pivotal position that combines product strategy, technical acumen, and leadership. This role is responsible for defining and championing a clear, multi-year product vision and strategy for the platform and integrations, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. The successful candidate will mentor and develop at least one direct report, fostering a culture of excellence and growth within the product team. This position involves conducting thorough market, customer, and competitive analysis to identify new integration opportunities and unmet needs.The role entails leading the development and management of a product roadmap that balances foundational infrastructure projects, new integration development, and long-term strategic goals. Effective presentation of product strategy, insights, and recommendations to the executive leadership team and other key stakeholders is crucial. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, is essential for successful launches.
As a senior member of the product team, this position requires a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as the ability to make sound investment decisions based on data-driven insights. What You Will Do
- Define and champion a clear, multi-year product vision and strategy for the platform and integrations.
- Mentor and develop at least one direct report, fostering a culture of excellence and growth within the product team.
- Conduct thorough market, customer, and competitive analysis to identify new integration opportunities and unmet needs.
- Develop and manage a product roadmap that balances foundational infrastructure projects, new integration development, and long-term strategic goals.
- Effectively present product strategy, insights, and recommendations to the executive leadership team and other key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate expert technical acumen by translating complex API specs and technical documentation into detailed user stories, functional requirements, and business solutions.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle for all integrations, from initial discovery and technical design to launch and iteration.
- Collaborate closely with engineering to build scalable, reliable, and high-quality platform services and integrations.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues, risks, and dependencies across multiple internal and external systems to ensure seamless integration.
- Own the relationship with external integration partners, ensuring smooth implementation and interoperability.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for platform health, integration performance, and product success.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize the product, prioritize features, and make sound investment decisions.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software product management, with a significant portion in a technical or platform-focused role.
- Proven track record of launching and managing successful, complex technical products, such as platforms, APIs, or large-scale integrations.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to leveraging AI tools to perform job duties.
- Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring product managers.
- Expert-level technical acumen with a deep understanding of APIs, system integration patterns, and platform architecture.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to derive insights from both quantitative and qualitative data.
