About the Role

The Senior Product Manager position at TeamSnap is a critical role that drives the development of innovative features for sports organizations. As a key member of the product team, you will own significant product areas, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and make strategic decisions that shape the future of the platform. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve defining and communicating product vision, strategy, and roadmap, as well as conducting customer research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities.

The product team at TeamSnap is committed to taking the work out of play in youth sports, and this role is essential to driving growth and innovation in the sports organization business. You will work closely with engineering leads, designers, and business stakeholders to develop and launch successful products that solve real customer problems. With a strong focus on customer-centricity, you will conduct customer interviews, surveys, and usability testing to deeply understand user needs and pain points.

What You Will Do

  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area
  • Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, and data insights to identify market opportunities
  • Write comprehensive product requirements documents (PRDs) with clear acceptance criteria
  • Partner with engineering leads to scope features, assess technical feasibility, and estimate effort
  • Work closely with designers to create intuitive user experiences
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning activities
  • Track feature adoption and success metrics, iterating based on learnings to drive meaningful product improvements
  • Present product strategy and updates to executive leadership
  • Gather input from sales, customer success, and support teams
  • Communicate product launches and updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships across the organization to drive product success

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of product management experience in software/SaaS companies
  • Proven experience in at least one of the following domains: ecommerce platforms, accounting and financial software, or CRM systems
  • Fluency with AI in the product development process
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions
  • Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Figma, Amplitude)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with deep understanding of agile/scrum methodologies
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong empathy for user needs
  • Strategic thinking combined with attention to detail and ability to navigate ambiguity
