Senior Product Manager, Stablecoins

## About the Role As a Senior Product Manager on the Flexible Credentials team at Marqeta, you will play a key role in driving the development of next-generation fintech products around Stablecoin payments and card issuance. Your primary focus will be on defining and executing the product strategy, aligning business goals with customer needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch and scale innovative financial solutions. The Flexible Credentials team is at the forefront of revolutionizing global embedded finance, enabling seamless integration of financial products into business platforms. The role entails working closely with engineering, design, and data teams to build and scale embedded finance solutions, including card issuance and Stablecoin payments. You will be responsible for conducting customer and market research to deeply understand customer pain points, industry trends, and competitive dynamics, and leveraging this knowledge to shape product decisions. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and balance strategic vision with execution will be crucial to success. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of financial services and work with a talented team of innovators. ## What You Will Do - Define and drive the product strategy for Stablecoin-based fintech products, aligning business goals with customer needs - Build and scale embedded finance solutions, including card issuance and Stablecoin payments, collaborating with engineering, design, and data teams - Execute with excellence, working cross-functionally with design, engineering, data science, legal, compliance, and external partners to build, launch, and scale compliant financial products - Conduct customer and market research to understand customer pain points, industry trends, and competitive dynamics, and leverage this knowledge to shape product decisions - Prioritize with data, using analytics, user insights, and industry trends to identify high-impact features, optimizations, and experiments - Partner with the fintech ecosystem, working closely with banks, networks, and fintech partners to drive innovation and enhance the platform's capabilities - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of card issuance, payment processing, Crypto/Stablecoin payments, and banking-as-a-service (BaaS) models - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the product remains competitive and compliant - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer success teams, to ensure alignment and effective product launch and promotion - Analyze and report on key product metrics, including user adoption, retention, and revenue growth

## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of product management experience in Cards Issuance, Stablecoin payments, or a related field - Proven experience building and scaling financial products from 0 to 1 in a high-growth environment - Strong technical acumen, with the ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand API-driven products - Deep understanding of card issuance, payment processing, Crypto/Stablecoin payments, and banking-as-a-service (BaaS) models - Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, balancing strategic vision with execution - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with both internal teams and external partners - Experience working with legal, compliance, risk, and regulatory frameworks in fintech - Strong understanding of customer-centric product development and the ability to prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs

## Nice to Have - Experience working with Stablecoin-based solutions and technology partners - Hands-on experience with creating and launching new financial products - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Lean product development principles
