About the Role

The Senior Product Marketing Manager role at Intercom is a pivotal position that combines strategic thinking, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a member of the product marketing team, you will be responsible for shaping the narrative and go-to-market strategy for Intercom's Helpdesk product. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be at the forefront of this change, working closely with the product team to define the positioning and messaging for Intercom's Helpdesk product. What You Will Do

  • Shape the ideal customer profile (ICP) and audience for Helpdesk, guiding marketing and GTM teams on focus areas and campaign direction
  • Lead positioning and messaging for the Helpdesk product area, emphasizing the integrated value of Helpdesk and Fin
  • Define and build the narrative for Intercom's AI-first Helpdesk vision, focusing on its impact and unique value proposition
  • Partner with the Product team to communicate product investment and progress to existing customers, driving customer confidence and retention
  • Develop high-impact narratives and enablement for sales teams, ensuring messaging is crisp and effective
  • Create core PMM assets, including web pages, first call decks, and launch materials, maintaining the core context for Intercom's AI-first approach
  • Lead launches and go-to-market moments, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver consistent messaging across sales, campaigns, and content
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on messaging, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a tech or software company
  • Proven track record of successfully launching products and driving go-to-market strategies
  • Strong expertise in GTM and Excel, with the ability to analyze data and inform marketing decisions
  • Excellent storytelling and narrative development skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages
  • Experience working closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to drive customer experiences
  • Strong understanding of AI and its applications in customer service and support
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects
