Senior Program Manager, Enterprise Technology & AI

What You Will Do

• Own end-to-end program management for large-scale or high-complexity Enterprise Technology & AI initiatives
• Define and communicate clear success metrics for each program, reporting status and risk to Enterprise Technology & AI leadership
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of underlying problems, desired outcomes, and solution trade-offs
• Drive cross-functional alignment by facilitating decision-making, resolving dependencies, and maintaining momentum across distributed teams
• Recommend and implement improvements to program governance frameworks, intake processes, and ways of working across the CIO org
• Translate complex technical and business requirements into clear, actionable work plans accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Anticipate risks and interdependencies across the portfolio, proactively mitigating blockers before they impact delivery
• Model Gitlab values and remote work best practices, contributing to a high-trust, async-first team culture

What We Are Looking For

• 6+ years of program management experience, with a strong track record delivering large-scale or high-complexity technology programs
• Technical fluency, with experience in IT, AI, or related fields
• Business acumen, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive business outcomes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of delivering results in a remote setting
• Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in analyzing complex problems and developing creative solutions

Nice to Have

• Experience with DevSecOps and agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with experience in integrating AI into program management
• Certification in program management, such as PMP or Agile
