About the Role

The Senior Programmatic Manager position at billups is a critical role that involves overseeing the development, execution, and optimization of programmatic advertising campaigns across multiple channels. This includes managing budgets, setting campaign strategies, and ensuring that all campaigns meet their intended targets and deliver a strong return on investment. Day-to-day, the Senior Programmatic Manager will work closely with various internal teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align programmatic advertising efforts with broader business objectives. The role reports directly to the Director of Marketing, ensuring that programmatic advertising strategies are integrated into the overall marketing plan.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive programmatic advertising strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Manage and optimize campaigns across various platforms, including but not limited to Google Ads, Meta for Business, and other display networks.
  • Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and tailor campaigns accordingly.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to integrate programmatic advertising with other marketing channels.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Manage budgets, ensuring that campaigns are delivered within budget and that ROI is maximized.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest programmatic advertising technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in programmatic advertising, with a proven track record of success in managing and optimizing campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of programmatic platforms, including DSPs and SSPs.
  • Experience with campaign management tools such as Google Campaign Manager and Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Certification in Google Ads and/or other programmatic advertising platforms is highly desirable.

  • Experience with data management platforms (DMPs) and customer data platforms (CDPs).
