About the Role

The Senior Project Management Consultant role at BME Strategies is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact public health projects, leveraging your expertise in project management, Salesforce, and Excel. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving project coordination, managing stakeholder communication, and ensuring the successful execution of complex projects. The role involves working closely with clients, understanding their needs, and developing tailored solutions to support their goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably in a consulting firm environment, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. A Master's degree in Public Health or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of client-facing experience, including 2 or more years in project leadership roles.

What You Will Do

  • Manage project operations and infrastructure, including maintaining and improving project tools and repositories
  • Drive meeting effectiveness and follow-through, coordinating and facilitating team and project meetings
  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities, supporting scheduling and team coordination
  • Support cross-workstream coordination, tracking dependencies, risks, and action items across workstreams
  • Partner on organizational change management (OCM) and training coordination, ensuring alignment between project activities and user needs
  • Manage and support core project operations, including documentation, meeting coordination, and stakeholder communication
  • Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation plans, and status reports
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in a consulting firm environment
  • Master's degree in Public Health or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of client-facing experience, including 2 or more years in project leadership roles
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, navigating ambiguity and driving results
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Commitment to quality and excellence in all aspects of work

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in the public health sector, preferably with local or regional health departments
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
