About the Role
The Senior Project Manager position at GE Vernova is a critical role that involves leading the delivery of complex GridOS and energy system integration projects. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving project execution, managing risk, and ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered on time and within scope. Your expertise in project management, coupled with your ability to navigate sophisticated OT and IT environments, will be essential in this role.As a Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and services, to achieve business objectives. Your strong understanding of project financials and contractual lifecycle will enable you to make informed decisions and drive margin improvements. What You Will Do
- Lead end-to-end project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet business objectives
- Develop and maintain robust project plans, ensuring strict budget control and driving margin improvements
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring every deliverable meets rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building lasting relationships and delivering high-quality solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture lessons learned and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Provide clear communication on project health to leadership and stakeholders
- Contribute operational expertise to the tendering process, shaping the future of the project portfolio
- Utilize Excel and industry-standard project management tools to drive project success
- Travel to customer sites (approximately 25% of the time) to ensure project success
What We Are Looking For
- Substantive experience managing complex, large-scale projects within an industrial or technical environment
- Solid educational background in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Strong proficiency with industry-standard project management tools and methodologies
- Ability to communicate effectively, navigating internal and external stakeholder needs
- Flexible mindset, with the willingness to travel to customer sites
- Strong understanding of project financials and contractual lifecycle
- Experience with risk management and quality assurance
- Proficiency in Excel and other project management software

- Professional certification such as PMP
- Insight into the Energy sector or Electric Utility industry
- Proficiency in the Norwegian language
- Experience working in a matrix environment
