About the Role
The Senior Project Manager position at Motravay.mu's video department is a pivotal role that requires a unique blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills. As the primary client delivery contact, the Senior Project Manager must be able to translate client objectives into successful project executions. This involves creating and managing project plans, directing project team members, and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standards.Day-to-day, the Senior Project Manager will work closely with the Account Services team to understand client needs, develop project plans, and allocate resources. They will also lead production meetings, maintain open communication with the production team and stakeholders, and perform risk management to mitigate any potential issues.
What You Will Do
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects
- Lead production meetings and activities, ensuring all team members are aligned and working towards common objectives
- Maintain open communication with the production team, stakeholders, and clients to ensure seamless project execution
- Perform risk management, identifying potential issues and developing solutions in collaboration with relevant personnel
- Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest quality standards
- Coordinate asset versioning and storage, ensuring easy access and retrieval of project assets
- Collaborate with the Account Services team to understand client needs and preferences
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met and deadlines are adhered to
- Provide quality control, ensuring all work meets the highest standards and customer needs
- Assist in developing and managing project budgets, ensuring cost-efficient use of resources
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a video production or similar environment, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in project management tools and software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Experience with budgeting and cost management, ensuring projects are delivered within budget
- Strong understanding of the video production process, from concept to delivery
- Ability to work remotely and manage virtual teams
