What You Will Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to ensure the quality of digital products, including smart lights and video doorbells
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to identify and resolve defects
- Design and implement automated tests to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual testing effort
- Conduct thorough analysis of test results to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that testing is integrated into the agile development process
- Participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings to ensure that testing is aligned with product goals and objectives
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure that testing is integrated into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve testing practices and methodologies
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual and automation testing
- Strong experience in testing embedded systems, including smart devices and IoT products
- Proficiency in programming languages, including Python and Java
- Experience with test automation frameworks, including Appium and Selenium
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including agile and scrum
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with test management tools, including Jira and TestRail
- Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure
Nice to Have
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins and Docker
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
