About the Role
As a Senior QA Engineer at Blue Coding, you will be working with one of their international clients, a corporation that provides life insurance solutions for the middle American market. Your role will entail planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing testing activities across the full lifecycle of applications undergoing modernization and cloud migration. You will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of systems being transformed from legacy .NET applications into modern, cloud-native solutions.The ideal candidate will have deep experience testing complex, distributed systems and APIs, along with a strong understanding of AWS-based architectures. You will be working closely with engineering, architecture, DevOps, and product teams, contributing not only through execution but also by shaping quality standards, identifying risks early, and ensuring consistent quality across both legacy and modernized environments.

What You Will Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for modernized Python and AWS-based applications
- Validate application behavior across the full modernization lifecycle, including system integration, data migration integrity, performance, regression
- Plan, organize, prioritize, and execute testing activities across the full lifecycle of applications
- Ensure the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of systems being transformed from legacy .NET applications into modern, cloud-native solutions
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, DevOps, and product teams
- Contribute to shaping quality standards, identifying risks early, and ensuring consistent quality across both legacy and modernized environments
- Interpret and validate legacy .NET codebases as part of re-architecture planning
- Translate technical requirements into clear test strategies, test plans, and documented test cases
- Work with cross-functional teams to align testing with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment strategies
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering, with a focus on testing complex, distributed systems and APIs
- Strong understanding of AWS-based architectures, including serverless, event-driven systems, and data pipelines
- Experience with legacy .NET applications and modern, cloud-native solutions
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools

- Experience with Excel and data analysis
- Knowledge of cloud migration and modernization strategies
