About the Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at Gainwell Technologies, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital systems. What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain project-specific quality assurance strategies, plans, and documentation
  • Conduct quality assessments and evaluations to determine process and product compliance
  • Document findings and escalate unresolved issues as needed
  • Review work products, analyze defects, and research solutions
  • Implement approved quality improvements and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Lead and support quality programs, audits, and related training and standard practice updates
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced quality assurance personnel
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize quality issues
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and dashboards to track progress and identify areas for improvement

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., computer science, engineering, business)
  • At least six years of experience in quality assurance, engineering, or management information systems
  • Experience with quality metrics, defect analysis, and software industry data collection techniques
  • Experience with software development methodologies, quality frameworks (e.g., SEI/CMM, ISO 9000), and project management methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presenting findings to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects, priorities, and remote environments
  • Demonstrated adaptability to change, multiple work streams, and deadline-driven delivery within budget

Nice to Have

  • Experience with software test science, test tools, and quality assurance principles and practices
  • Certification in a quality assurance or related field (e.g., CQA, CSQA)
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and iterative testing
