About the Role
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer position at PradeepIT involves leading the effort to discover new strategies and tools for testing product infrastructure, front-end, and back-end. As a key member of the QA team, you will collaborate with team members across geographies to automate test cases using Selenium WebDriver. Your expertise in Salesforce, Java, and test automation will be essential in driving the team's success.The role requires a deep understanding of testing frameworks, including Selenium Page Object Model (POM), TestNG, and JUnit. You will be responsible for designing and tuning automation framework optimizations for robust automation development and stable automation executions. Your experience in working with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, and cloud computing platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), will be valuable in this position.
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with the development team to ensure quality products by identifying product defects, logging issues, and verifying fixes. Your strong organizational and problem-solving abilities will be crucial in managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
- Own and drive the effort to discover new strategies and tools for testing product infrastructure, front-end, and back-end
- Collaborate with QA/DEV team members across geographies to automate test cases using Selenium WebDriver
- Participate in new feature and product implementations by integrating Selenium test suites into Jenkins and maintaining their efficacy
- Ensure quality products by identifying product defects, logging issues, and verifying fixes through development, pre-prod, and production environments
- Continuously improve existing test frameworks, including investigating failures and reporting found bugs
- Update test scripts to accommodate feature changes, stabilize automation suites, and optimize execution times
- Design and tune automation framework optimizations for robust automation development and stable automation executions
- Deploy applications in test environments for different testing requirements using CI/CD tools
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of test framework setups and test scenarios
What We Are Looking For
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in test automation with Selenium and Java
- Strong understanding of testing frameworks, including Selenium Page Object Model (POM), TestNG, and JUnit
- Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, and cloud computing platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Good understanding of Agile methodology and other software development methodologies
- Ability to develop and maintain Selenium automation solutions using Selenium WebDriver with Java and API test automation
- Proficient with functional, cross-browser, infrastructure, performance, load, and integration testing
- Knowledge of writing and maintaining test plans based on product requirements
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker and Linux environments
- Familiarity with Salesforce and its ecosystem
- Knowledge of TDD and BDD frameworks
- Certification in test automation or a related field
