About the Role
The Senior Recruiter role at Ramp is a critical component of the company's growth strategy, focused on identifying and attracting top talent in the GTM and Sales functions. As a Senior Recruiter, you will own end-to-end hiring processes, from initial research to offer close, and partner with GTM leadership to develop and execute ambitious hiring plans. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a deep understanding of the market, identifying key trends and patterns, and developing targeted recruitment strategies to attract the best candidates.The role is based in New York, NY, at Ramp's headquarters, and offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about building systems that shape the future of finance. As a Senior Recruiter at Ramp, you will be expected to combine craft and execution, using AI-powered tools to research and identify top talent, and then leveraging your relationship-building skills to close candidates and drive hiring success.
What You Will Do
- Use AI and research to find top talent in GTM and Sales functions
- Build target lists of high performers at peer and aspirational companies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Sales Navigator, Gong signals, internal data, and AI tools like Claude
- Calibrate quickly and map the market to develop a clear point of view on what 'great' looks like for each role
- Run thoughtful, personalized outreach to candidates, grounded in real research and tailored to their interests and motivations
- Own the full cycle of hiring, from first outreach to offer close, including pipeline hygiene, stakeholder updates, and offer construction
- Close candidates with competing offers by partnering with hiring managers and leadership to build conviction and sequence references
- Be a strategic partner to GTM leaders, pushing back on mis-scoped searches and surfacing compensation reality early
- Deliver an excellent candidate experience that is fair, transparent, and fast
- Improve how we hire by contributing to process changes, comp benchmarking, employer brand, and how Ramp evaluates GTM talent
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of full-cycle GTM/Sales recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth or top-tier startup environment
- A real track record of identifying strong talent, not just running searches that closed
- Examples of candidates you found, ran a process for, and who became top performers
- Comfort using AI in your day-to-day workflow, including LLMs to research candidates, draft personalized outreach, summarize calls, or surface signals from messy data
- Experience with recruitment tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Sales Navigator, and Ashby
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust and conviction with candidates and hiring managers
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop targeted recruitment strategies

- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of ambiguity and uncertainty
- Familiarity with the finance or fintech industry, and a understanding of the key trends and patterns shaping the market
