About the Role
The Senior Recruiter for Design at Ramp is a critical role that involves partnering with design leadership to shape the team responsible for building innovative products. As a key member of the recruiting team, you will own full-cycle recruiting across Product Design, Design Engineering, and Brand Design, and help identify, assess, and hire exceptional designers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of what differentiates great design talent and be able to build relationships with designers through referrals, events, and ongoing engagement with the design community.The design team at Ramp is responsible for creating products that directly shape how companies move and manage billions of dollars. As a recruiter for this team, you will be working closely with design leaders to define hiring needs, align on candidate profiles, and calibrate talent across a range of design disciplines. Your expertise in recruiting and design will be essential in helping Ramp stay connected to top talent and cultivate the networks that drive future hiring.

What You Will Do
- Own full-cycle recruiting across Product Design, Design Engineering, and Brand Design
- Partner with design leadership to define hiring needs, align on candidate profiles, and calibrate talent across a range of design disciplines
- Identify and engage talent through various channels, including social media, portfolio sites, and other industry events
- Build relationships with designers through referrals, events, and ongoing engagement with the design community
- Partner with the Design Program Manager and design team to strengthen Ramp's presence in the industry
- Improve how we hire by refining processes, leveraging new tools, and raising the quality of design recruiting at Ramp
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the design market, including current trends, and top design talent
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to share best practices and knowledge
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience, including experience hiring for design roles
- Strong understanding of what differentiates great design talent
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and a track record of earning trust with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leaders
- Strong judgment, attention to detail, and operational rigor
- An experimental mindset and a willingness to try new approaches to find, engage, and hire great talent
- Experience using AI throughout the recruiting workflow to improve sourcing, candidate engagement, and execution
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting for startups or high-growth companies
- Knowledge of design tools and software, such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Cloud
- Familiarity with design systems and principles
