About the Role
The Senior Recruiter for Engineering at Cielo will play a pivotal role in leading the recruitment process for engineering talent. This involves conducting detailed intake meetings with hiring managers to understand position specifications and providing market data-driven recommendations. The role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop and manage recruitment marketing and sourcing strategies, ensuring the delivery of strong candidate slates and the building of talent pipelines. Given the remote nature of this position, the ability to keep candidates engaged throughout the recruitment process with timely updates is crucial.The Senior Recruiter will also partner with hiring leaders to determine offer details, utilizing market data and compensation guidelines to support these decisions. Mentoring Recruiters and other team members is an integral part of this role, aiming to elevate the team's expertise and performance in talent acquisition.
As a subject matter expert in talent acquisition, the Senior Recruiter will provide consultative direction and industry expertise to hiring leaders, acting as a brand ambassador for the client and focusing on delivering exceptional talent.
What You Will Do
- Lead detailed intake meetings with hiring managers to determine position specifications and provide relevant market data and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments to develop and manage recruitment marketing and sourcing strategies.
- Evaluate candidate profiles against position requirements and deliver strong candidate slates.
- Build talent pipelines to ensure a consistent flow of qualified candidates.
- Keep candidates engaged throughout the recruitment process with timely updates on their progress.
- Partner with hiring leaders to determine offer details, using market data and compensation guidelines to support recommendations.
- Mentor Recruiters and other team members to enhance their recruitment skills and knowledge.
- Utilize recruitment technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and social media tools to streamline the recruitment process.
- Stay abreast of common Human Resources principles, practices, and metrics related to talent acquisition to inform recruitment strategies.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, human resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Significant recruiting experience, with demonstrated successes in a corporate, RPO, or agency setting, preferably with 8+ years of experience.
- Familiarity with recruitment technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like EIGHTFOLD or ORACLE.
- Knowledge of common Human Resources principles, practices, and metrics related to talent acquisition.
- Experience in engineering recruitment, particularly within the manufacturing sector, is essential.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and make informed recruitment decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
Nice to Have
- Experience with recruitment marketing and social media tools to enhance candidate attraction and engagement.
- Familiarity with digital accelerators and their application in talent acquisition.
- Certification in recruitment or human resources, such as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP).
