About the Role

The Senior Recruiter & People Operations Lead at Wellist is a pivotal role responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, and ensuring the smooth operation of people operations. This position is crucial in building and maintaining a high-performing team that aligns with Wellist's mission to deliver support to employees during every life moment. As a key member of the team, the Senior Recruiter & People Operations Lead will work closely with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and drive the hiring process forward with urgency.

The role is divided into two primary areas of focus: full-cycle recruiting, which accounts for 75-80% of the position, and people operations, which accounts for 20-25%. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned recruiter with experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding. They will also have a strong understanding of people operations and the ability to manage day-to-day HR needs.

Wellist is looking for a high-ownership operator who can run both hiring and core HR execution without constant oversight. The successful candidate will bring urgency, strong judgment, and the ability to improve funnel conversion, speed, and quality of hire.

What You Will Do

  • Own end-to-end recruiting across roles from kickoff through offer, negotiation, and close
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to align on role scope, candidate quality, and hiring decisions
  • Proactively source and build high-quality pipelines, not just manage inbound
  • Drive hiring processes forward with urgency by ensuring interviews, feedback, and decisions happen quickly
  • Own candidate relationships end to end and be onsite as needed to support final interviews and deliver a high-quality candidate experience
  • Use data and judgment to improve funnel conversion, speed, and quality of hire
  • Develop and maintain recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Manage and improve the recruitment process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure alignment on people operations and recruitment goals
  • Conduct regular check-ins with hiring managers to ensure satisfaction with the recruitment process

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Strong understanding of recruitment principles, practices, and technologies
  • Experience with HR systems and recruitment software
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment
