About the Role

Mercury is seeking a Senior Recruiter to drive Product Management hiring end-to-end. In this role, you'll partner closely with leaders to align on role scope, success profiles, and evaluation criteria. Developing deep domain fluency across product areas is crucial, as you'll need to assess product thinking, systems orientation, and trajectory. Your expertise will influence what Mercury builds and how well it's built, making this a high-impact position. As a key member of the recruiting team, you'll work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple searches simultaneously without compromising quality. Your ability to communicate effectively, advise hiring managers, and drive structured evaluation processes will be essential to success. What You Will Do

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for Product Management roles, adapting to support other technical and platform functions as needed
  • Partner with Product leaders to define role scope, success profiles, and evaluation criteria
  • Develop domain fluency across product areas to inform assessments and candidate conversations
  • Own search strategy, from sourcing and pipeline development to closing
  • Use data and market signals to refine your approach and maintain search momentum
  • Deliver a candidate experience that's both thoughtful and transparent
  • Build inclusive pipelines and drive consistent evaluation processes
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to advise on hiring decisions and ensure quality
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruiting

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on Product Management hiring at high-growth technology companies
  • Ability to assess product thinking, systems orientation, and trajectory
  • Skilled at advising and influencing hiring managers
  • Clear and structured communication skills
  • Organized and proactive, with a track record of managing multiple searches simultaneously
  • Genuine curiosity about products, systems, and what separates good work from great work
  • Experience with remote work and digital skills
  • Knowledge of fintech industry trends and challenges
