Job Description
About the Role
As a Senior Recruiter at Gitlab, you will play a key role in supporting the hiring efforts of our APAC Sales teams. This includes managing full lifecycle recruiting, developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies, and working closely with hiring managers and cross-functional partners to drive hiring results. The ideal candidate will be located in Australia or Singapore and will have experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to build effective recruiting strategies, managing full lifecycle recruiting across roles in Sales, and acting as the APAC hiring Subject Matter Expert. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

What You Will Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and hiring teams to build effective recruiting strategies for APAC Sales hiring
- Manage full lifecycle recruiting across roles in Sales, acting as the APAC hiring Subject Matter Expert
- Build a balanced candidate source mix across passive, active, and referral channels
- Develop and post accurate job descriptions that attract qualified candidates
- Use talent market insights and research to shape sourcing plans and inform hiring decisions
- Partner closely with external recruitment agencies across different APAC countries to align on role requirements, candidate quality, and hiring progress
- Use data from the applicant tracking system, candidate feedback, and recruiting metrics to manage pipelines and recommend course corrections
- Create a thoughtful and timely candidate experience through clear communication and strong process management
- Lead weekly hiring team meetings for the region, discussing metrics such as time to fill, conversion rates, and scorecard data
- Partner closely with the Candidate Experience team to drive efficient interview processes and timely scheduling for our hiring teams
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a sales or technical recruiting role
- Proven track record of success in managing full lifecycle recruiting and driving hiring results
- Strong understanding of the APAC job market and recruiting trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and hiring teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting software
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Human Resources, Business, or Communications
