What You Will Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of accounting firms, driving the adoption of Mercury's financial products
- Execute a structured cadence of success calls, business reviews, and proactive check-ins to ensure that firms and their clients are realizing the full value of Mercury's platform
- Map each firm's full client network and track product utilization across complex entities and stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for growth and provide tailored solutions to help accounting firms and their clients achieve their financial goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and sales, to drive business growth and improve customer experiences
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the fintech ecosystem, including trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
- Provide feedback and insights to product, marketing, and leadership teams to inform product development and marketing strategies
- Contribute to the design and iteration of accounting-partner-specific playbooks, workflows, and tooling
- Drive product adoption from the firm down to their clients, ensuring critical workflow features are utilized by the clients they serve
What We Are Looking For
- 4-6 years of experience in customer success, relationship banking, fintech account management, or a similar client-facing role
- 3+ years of experience working directly with accounting firms or inside an accounting firm, with a strong understanding of firm operations and accounting principles
- Strong working knowledge of general ledger systems, chart of accounts structures, bank reconciliations, and accrual vs. cash basis accounting
- Familiarity with the accounting technology ecosystem, including tools like QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite
- Experience managing a book of business across multiple firms or multi-entity client portfolios, with a track record of driving retention and expansion
- Clear, confident communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with finance leaders and firm principals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify opportunities for growth
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM systems
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and sales enablement tools
- Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
