What You Will Do

• Drive an independent, high-impact research agenda on frontier topics in AI
• Collaborate with global experts to advance the field of machine learning and NLP
• Publish research findings openly and engage with the broader research community
• Explore ambitious questions and develop innovative solutions
• Mentor and support junior researchers to help them grow in their careers
• Participate in the development of research proposals and grant applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research into product development
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including academic partners and industry collaborators
• Identify and pursue new research opportunities and collaborations

What We Are Looking For

• PhD (or equivalent research experience) in machine learning, AI, statistics, or a related field
• Strong track record of publications in top-tier conferences and journals
• Expertise in machine learning and NLP fundamentals, with experience in shaping and executing original research
• Experience in collaborating across disciplines and geographies
• Strong mentorship and leadership skills, with the ability to guide junior researchers
• Passion for advancing AI research and its applications
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Nice to Have

• Experience in areas such as efficiency, optimization, reasoning, multimodality, and agentic systems
• Familiarity with human-AI collaboration and its applications
• Experience in working with large datasets and developing scalable solutions
• Knowledge of industry trends and developments in AI research
