What You Will Do

  • Ensure technical wins by running organized proof-of-value processes, ensuring that every client sees the tangible benefits of Fivetran's solutions.

  • Work closely with multiple Sales representatives, maintaining a high level of customer focus and technical excellence in every interaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the data industry, including cloud computing, data analytics, and replication technologies.
  • Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams based on customer interactions, helping to shape the future of Fivetran's products and services.
  • Participate in sales strategy sessions to identify new opportunities and tailor sales approaches to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Fivetran's technology, competitors, and market trends, using this knowledge to drive sales success.

What We Are Looking For

  • German language proficiency, with excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English.
  • A strong technical background, with experience in data replication, cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure), and data analytics tools (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
  • Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in the data technology sector.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a strong discipline for organization and time management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them simply.
