About the Role

The Senior Sales Engineer role at Fivetran is a critical component of the company's Enterprise sales team. What You Will Do

  • Work with Enterprise customers to understand their business needs, use cases, and data replication requirements
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations to Enterprise audiences, highlighting the capabilities and benefits of Fivetran's solutions
  • Ensure the technical win by running an organized proof-of-value process, including solution design, testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to identify new sales opportunities and develop strategic account plans
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the data integration market, including cloud-based solutions and data analytics tools
  • Work closely with multiple cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive change and improvements to Fivetran's solutions
  • Assist team members in advanced technical or business roadblocks, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Fivetran's solutions and the data integration market, including competitors and emerging trends

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in data replication, sales engineering, or a related field
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with data integration technologies, cloud-based solutions, and data analytics tools
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to deliver technical presentations to large audiences
  • Strong customer-centric approach, with a focus on building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Experience working with Enterprise customers, including understanding their complex business needs and developing strategic account plans
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on innovation and growth
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Excel and other data analysis tools

  • Experience with data analytics tools, including Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks
