What You Will Do
- Work with enterprise customers to understand their business requirements, use cases, and data replication requirements
- Develop and deliver functional and technical presentations to enterprise audiences
- Ensure the technical win by running a tight proof-of-value process
- Work closely with Fivetran's Product, Post Sale Services, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment of our solutions to enterprise customer needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with key enterprise customers and partners
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in our industry
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new sales opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
- Provide technical support and guidance to the sales team to help them better understand and communicate the value of Fivetran's solutions
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote Fivetran's solutions and build relationships with potential customers
- Continuously evaluate and improve the sales process to ensure it is aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals
What We Are Looking For
- Strong technical background covering database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies
- Experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, and BI tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a keen ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- 5+ years of experience in selling IT services or products within an enterprise or similarly complex environment
- Experience working with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with data integration tools such as API, Kafka, and Grafana
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience working with data replication solutions and cloud data warehouses
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or R
- Experience working with sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies
- Certification in data analytics or a related field
