## About the Role Fivetran is a pioneer in the data replication industry, dedicated to making data access as simple and reliable as electricity. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Enterprise, Strategic Existing Business sales team, working closely with the sales team to understand complex business needs and showcase how Fivetran's data replication solutions can drive desired business outcomes. Your expertise will be crucial in providing technical guidance, identifying requirements, and supporting a rigorous proof-of-value process throughout the sales cycle. The role involves collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, professional services, and product engineering, to ensure holistic account ownership and alignment of Fivetran's solutions with customer needs. You will also develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners, staying abreast of the latest technologies and trends in the industry. ## What You Will Do - Work with Enterprise customers to understand their business, use cases, and data replication requirements - Develop and deliver technical presentations to Enterprise audiences - Ensure the technical win by running a tight proof-of-value process - Collaborate with the sales team to build and maintain a comprehensive account ownership plan - Work closely with Fivetran's Product and Engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs - Develop and maintain relationships with key Enterprise customers and partners - Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the data replication and analytics industry - Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team - Participate in the development of sales strategies and plans - Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing customer accounts ## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of experience in data replication, sales engineering, or a related technical field - Proven ability to work cross-functionally to support large enterprise customers - Strong technical background covering database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies - Experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, and BI tools - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Experience working with AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Kafka, and Grafana is a plus ## Nice to Have - Experience with Python and Linux - Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations - Certification in data analytics or a related field - Experience working with data pipelines and ETL processes ## Benefits and Perks - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunity to work with a cutting-edge technology company - Remote work options with flexible working hours - Professional development and growth opportunities - Access to the latest technologies and tools in the industry - Collaborative and dynamic work environment - Recognition and reward for outstanding performance
