About the Role
The Senior Sales Engineer role at Fivetran is a critical position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise and sales acumen. As a key member of the Enterprise sales team, you will work closely with customers to understand their complex business needs and develop tailored solutions using Fivetran's data replication technology. Your expertise in Excel will be essential in helping customers achieve their desired business outcomes.The role involves working with a range of stakeholders, from sales representatives to cross-functional teams, to drive technical wins and ensure successful proof-of-value processes. You will be responsible for developing and delivering technical presentations to Enterprise audiences, identifying technical requirements, and staying up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the industry.

What You Will Do
- Work with Enterprise customers to understand their business, use cases, and data replication requirements
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to Enterprise audiences
- Ensure the technical win by running an organized proof-of-value process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive change and improvements to Fivetran as a whole
- Work closely with multiple Sales representatives to maintain a high level of customer focus and technical excellence
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the industry, including AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Fivetran's data replication solutions and their applications
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic planning and customer engagement
- Provide technical guidance and support to Sales representatives to help them better understand customer needs
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering or similar role, preferably in the data analytics or software industry
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and experience with data replication technologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong understanding of Enterprise customer needs and the ability to develop tailored solutions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with data analytics tools, such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks

- Experience with programming languages, such as Python or Java
- Familiarity with Linux or Windows operating systems
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Certification in data analytics or a related field
