About the Role

The Senior Sales Engineer role at Zscaler is a key technical position that involves presenting the company's cloud security platform to prospective customers and guiding them through their transformational journey. This is a fully remote role based in Germany, reporting to the Senior Sales Engineering Manager in the Solutions Consulting department. What You Will Do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through their digital transformation journey.
  • Gather customer technical requirements and promote the value proposition of Zscaler's solutions through presentations, demos, and POV.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new sales opportunities and expand existing relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Zscaler's products and services, as well as the competitive landscape.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team to inform future product enhancements.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to promote Zscaler's brand and solutions.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key customer decision-makers and influencers.

What We Are Looking For

  • Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems Integrator with deep knowledge of enterprise network or cloud security technologies.
  • Proficiency with Value Selling Methodologies combined with proven experience partnering with sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security technologies, including Zero Trust models and SASE architectures.
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, including technical and non-technical decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and navigate ambiguity with ease.
