  • Present at executive and technical forums, lead workshops, and translate technical details into business impact for C-level executives, engineering leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM of customer interactions, feedback, and sales outcomes.
  • Proactively engage with customers and internal teams to gather and provide feedback on product development and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the product team to prioritize features based on customer, competitor, and market feedback.
  • Develop and execute evaluation plans with customers to demonstrate the value of Datadog's solutions.
  • Travel to client sites as necessary to deliver presentations, demonstrations, and support sales activities.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Go, Java, etc., and familiarity with DevOps practices like CI/CD and IaC workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with new logo accounts and collaborate through long sales cycles.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role.
  • Ability to travel up to 45% of the time for client meetings and sales activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
