About the Role
The Senior Sales & Proposal Manager will play a crucial role in driving business growth for GE Vernova's Grid Systems Integration business in Poland. This position entails developing and executing proposal strategies, negotiating sales agreements, and identifying new opportunities for product and service development. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to stay abreast of the latest commercial developments and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.As a key member of the team, the Senior Sales & Proposal Manager will contribute to strategy and policy development, ensuring delivery within their area of responsibility. This role requires a deep understanding of best practices, market competition, and the factors that differentiate GE Vernova in the market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tender management, team management, and development, as well as expertise in the Grid Solutions business and EPC/turnkey projects.

What You Will Do
- Formulate and execute proposal strategies and sales agreements
- Develop deal structures, pricing, and proposal development
- Assist in customer negotiations and identify new opportunities for business growth
- Collaborate with functional partners to develop new products and services
- Develop specialized knowledge of the latest commercial developments in the grid solutions business
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to influence others
- Contribute to strategy and policy development, ensuring delivery within the area of responsibility
- Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- Lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements
- Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus
- Develop persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within the field
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited technical university or college, such as electrical engineering or similar
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with proven leadership skills
- Wide range of experience in tendering complex turnkey projects, preferably from grid and electrical construction projects (especially high-voltage)
- Proven knowledge of commercial operations, negotiating contracts, and fluent in English and Polish
- Willingness to travel 40% plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Established project management skills
- Experience in dealing with customers, both technically and commercially, at all levels within a business
