About the Role

The Senior Sales Strategy & Operations Analyst will play a critical role in supporting PagerDuty's global commercial sales teams, primarily across North America and EMEA. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence and enabling revenue growth through scalable processes and data-driven insights. As a strategic business partner to commercial leadership and sales teams, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales operations and the ability to build and implement processes that drive productivity and efficiency.

The successful candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for commercial teams on operational needs and process questions, providing timely and effective support to ensure seamless sales operations. This will involve managing daily operational requests, supporting weekly and monthly forecasting processes, and conducting analysis on customer accounts to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

What You Will Do

  • Manage daily operational requests from commercial sales teams, including territory management, account assignments, and rep coverage optimization
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the AVP of Commercial Sales, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth
  • Support weekly and monthly forecasting processes and pipeline reviews, ensuring accuracy and reliability of sales data
  • Build and implement scalable processes for commercial teams, including BDR routing, lead assignment, and account segmentation
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and design solutions to improve team productivity, partnering with cross-functional teams to implement changes
  • Maintain and update Salesforce dashboards and reports to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Conduct analysis on customer accounts, including AI customer segmentation by ARR, renewal tracking, and churn risk identification
  • Partner with analytics teams to identify best sources of truth for key metrics, including meetings, pipeline, and customer data
  • Ensure data integrity across Salesforce, Tableau, and other sales tools, troubleshooting reporting discrepancies and resolving data quality issues

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or strategy & operations
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce, including reports, dashboards, and data management
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with data analysis
  • Proven ability to build scalable processes and drive operational improvements
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally
  • Comfortable working independently in a matrix organization with multiple business partners and senior Strategy & Operations stakeholders
  • Self-starter with strong project management capabilities
  • Strong understanding of sales operations and the ability to build and implement processes that drive productivity and efficiency

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools
  • SQL skills and experience with data modeling
  • Background supporting commercial/mid-market sales teams
  • Familiarity with digital operations management and the ability to apply this knowledge to drive sales growth
