About the Role
As a Senior Sales System Engineer at Twilio, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's sales strategy and driving business growth. You will work closely with the GTM Automation team to design, develop, and implement complex sales systems that meet the company's evolving needs. What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and implement complex sales systems that meet the company's evolving needs
- Collaborate with the GTM Automation team to identify business requirements and develop solutions
- Work with large volumes of data to identify trends, provide insights, and inform business decisions
- Develop custom Salesforce applications using SOQL API's, Apex controllers, and other development tools
- Participate in technical analysis activities and document requirements for application integration
- Review and assure quality in all code entering the codebase
- Continually evaluate and refactor the existing codebase for increased extensibility
- Architect and implement solutions that stay within Salesforce multi-tenant constraints
- Learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements
- Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and provide technical support
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for sales systems and applications
What We Are Looking For
- 4-6 years of experience building and maintaining Salesforce environments
- Strong technical skills in Salesforce development, including SOQL API's, Apex controllers, and Apex Web Services
- Experience working with large volumes of data and providing insights that inform business decisions
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas simply and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with GTM automation systems and sales data models
- Strong understanding of Salesforce multi-tenant constraints and how to work within them
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements
- Experience working in a remote team environment and collaborating with colleagues globally
