About the Role

The Senior Salesforce Developer position at Docker is a critical role that will help scale and evolve the company's Go-To-Market systems and business operations. As a seasoned expert in Salesforce development, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Security, to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions. This role is pivotal in driving productivity, data quality, automation, and customer experience across the organization.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integrated third-party systems.
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of Salesforce customizations, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, integrations, and platform automation.
  • Partner with stakeholders across GTM and Operations teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Improve and maintain Salesforce data architecture, security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and governance standards.
  • Build and support integrations between Salesforce and external platforms, such as MuleSoft, NetSuite, CPQ, ERP, marketing automation, customer support, and data platforms.
  • Drive platform optimization, technical debt reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Own the Salesforce DevOps and release management lifecycle, establishing engineering best practices.
  • Participate in roadmap planning and provide technical leadership for strategic Salesforce initiatives.
  • Manage Agentforce, Slackbot, AI skills, and other AI Salesforce offerings.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement scalable long-term solutions.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments.
  • Deep expertise with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, Flow automation, and platform security.
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations using MuleSoft.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and quote-to-cash business processes.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ and billing systems.
  • Experience with RevOps or quote-to-cash processes.
