About the Role

As a Senior SDET, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies, utilizing your expertise in Playwright, API, and UI testing to ensure the quality and stability of AI-generated code. You will work closely with developers to drive quality culture and standards, and collaborate on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for microservice ecosystems
  • Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright, API, and UI testing
  • Ensure the quality and stability of AI-generated code through rigorous testing and validation
  • Collaborate with developers to drive quality culture and standards, and improve testing practices
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, leveraging expertise in automation and DevOps
  • Validate cloud deployments on AWS environments, including Fargate and EKS
  • Handle ambiguity and translate minimal requirements into effective automation frameworks and test plans
  • Utilize performance testing experience to ensure system scalability and reliability
  • Work closely with developers to improve overall quality and reduce defects
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong experience with Playwright, automated API, and UI testing
  • Java or TypeScript test automation background, with a deep understanding of software development principles
  • Experience in testing microservices, APIs, gateways, and asynchronous systems, with a focus on quality and reliability
  • CI/CD automation experience using GitHub Actions, with knowledge of DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with AWS environments, including Fargate and EKS, and cloud deployment validation
  • Performance testing experience, with a focus on system scalability and reliability
  • Ability to define automation strategy from scratch, with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to challenge developers and improve team quality culture
