About the Role

The Senior SEA Manager position at Kaufland e-commerce is a unique opportunity to lead the company's Shopping and Apps campaigns. As a key member of the Performance Marketing team, you will be responsible for the operational management and strategic development of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts. Your primary focus will be on high-scale Shopping and integrated App campaigns, ensuring that our product data is algorithm-ready across Search, Shopping, and Discovery.

The role requires a deep understanding of the post-cookie landscape and the ability to optimize campaigns for specific KPIs via data analysis. You will work closely with the team to design and implement effective account structures, automated monitoring systems, and anomaly detection alerts to ensure 24/7 account health.

What You Will Do

  • Take full responsibility for the operational management and strategic development of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts
  • Proactively optimize Merchant Center data architecture and use AI-driven enrichment to ensure product data is algorithm-ready
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of App Install and Engagement campaigns, optimizing for down-funnel events and leveraging deep-linking strategies
  • Design and implement effective account structures for specific business needs
  • Develop automated monitoring systems and anomaly detection alerts to ensure 24/7 account health
  • Execute a rigorous always-on testing roadmap, from creative A/B tests to feed-label experiments
  • Design and refine processes surrounding feed management, feed optimization, and cross-channel performance analysis
  • Collaborate with the team to elevate collective AI and PPC skills
  • Share technical knowledge and train working students

What We Are Looking For

  • Successfully completed university degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a data-focused technical field
  • Profound practical experience in handling complex Google Shopping accounts and large data feeds
  • Solid proficiency in App Marketing (UAC/MMPs)
  • Think-automation-first approach and experience with Google Ads Scripts, No-Code tools, or Python
  • AI-First marketer, confident in using Generative AI for rapid copy iteration and deep data analysis
  • Strong communicator with excellent technical knowledge
  • Fluency in both German (C1) and English (C1), written and spoken

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Google Analytics and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML
  • Familiarity with Python libraries and frameworks
